Man turns house into record shop after inheriting 20,000 records from uncle

People collect all sorts of things throughout their life. Stamps, coins and baseball cards are some of the most common collections. But no one may have a collection quite like one man in Wisconsin.

It may not be a record-setting record collection, but it's drumming up a lot of interest.

Charlie Muller's late uncle, George Johnson, was a lover of music — and it was a love that was measured in vinyl.

"In the ’80s when records were kind of fading out, people said ‘George, you want my records?’ so George took the records and made his own collection,” Muller told WKBT.

Over the years, his collection grew to 20,000 records. It has everyone from Alice Cooper to Led Zeppelin, to the Beach Boys.

Spring training games are officially underway

JUPITER, Fla. —

The first day of spring training is officially underway at the Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.

"The hot dogs are hot, the sodas are cold. We’re ready to play ball," Mike Bauer, the general manager of Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, told WPBF 25 News.

The first game on the field is between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Houston Astros Friday afternoon.

The stadium will look a lot different this year compared to previous years.

Last year, the stadium was under a 21% occupancy, along with pod seating available. And this season, there will be 100% capacity. While masks are optional, officials recommend those who are unvaccinated wear one.

Instagram is rolling out new tools that parents can use to help monitor and limit their kids' usage of the photo-sharing app, months after disclosures from a Facebook whistleblower raised concerns about the platform's impact on younger users.

The tools, released Wednesday, offer parents the ability to see how much time their kids spend on Instagram and to set limits on their use as well as visibility into the accounts they follow or are followed by. The options are currently available for parents in the United States, with plans to roll out globally in the coming months.

Uber is rolling out a fuel surcharge

Everyone is feeling pain at the pump -- even Uber.

The ride-sharing service announced Friday it's rolling out a fuel surcharge to help its drivers offset the burden of higher gas prices for at least the next two months.

Starting Wednesday, users will pay an extra $0.45 or $0.55 per trip and an additional $0.35 or $0.45 for Uber Eats, depending on the location. Uber said all the money from the surcharges will go to the drivers.

"We know that prices have been going up across the economy, so we've done our best to help drivers and couriers without placing too much additional burden on consumers," Liza Winship, head of driver operations for the U.S. and Canada, said in an online post.

Tom Brady reverses retirement decision, announces he will be returning for 23rd season

Tom Brady’s retirement lasted 40 days.

Brady said Sunday he’s returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his 23rd NFL season.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion announced his decision on Twitter and Instagram, saying he has “unfinished business.” The news stole the spotlight from the NCAA’s Selection Sunday.

“These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands,” Brady wrote. “That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa.”

Brady led the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title following the 2020 season and NFC South championship last season. He teamed with coach Bill Belichick to win six Super Bowls during 20 seasons with the New England Patriots.

Does playing Wordle make you smarter?

Wordle-bragging, arguably one of the newest forms of humble-bragging, has taken over social media. Solving the five-letter daily puzzle, and doing it in only three, two or even your first attempt is a badge of pride for many.

But does being good at Wordle mean you're smarter than the average person, or even a fellow puzzler?

"No," said memory and learning researcher Aaron Seitz, a professor of psychology at the University of California, Riverside, who founded the university's Brain Game Center. "You're just a person who does well at Wordle versus another person who doesn't do as well on Wordle."

Sean Penn walked to Polish border to leave Ukraine

Sean Penn says he and his colleagues ditched their car on their way out of Ukraine.

The actor, activist and director was reportedly in the country working on a documentary when Russian forces invaded.

Penn recently tweeted a photo in which he appeared to be walking a road with his luggage amid a long line of cars.

"Myself & two colleagues walked miles to the Polish border after abandoning our car on the side of the road," the tweet read. "Almost all the cars in this photo carry women & children only, most without any sign of luggage, and a car their only possession of value."

Penn had earlier tweeted, "Already a brutal mistake of lives taken and hearts broken, and if he doesn't relent, I believe Mr. Putin will have made a most horrible mistake for all of humankind."

"President Zelensky and the Ukrainian people have risen as historic symbols of courage and principle", he wrote. "Ukraine is the tip of the spear for the democratic embrace of dreams. If we allow it to fight alone, our soul as America is lost."

A rep for Penn confirmed to CNN that he made it out of Ukraine, but declined to provide any further information.

WATCH: The 'Wheel of Fortune' feather fiasco that's being called the show's 'most painful 2 minutes'

A "Wheel of Fortune" puzzle recently had contestants scratching their heads, while viewers grew frustrated at their numerous incorrect guesses.

The puzzle's answer was "another feather in your cap," but Laura Machado, a high school dean of students, was thrown off after her initial guess of "another feather in your hat," was incorrect.

Even when a "P" appeared on the board as the last letter of the last word, Machado's next guesses were lap and map, but the other contestants were stumped as well.

One viewer tweeted that unsuccessful attempts to solve the puzzle were "the most painful two minutes of Wheel of Fortune I've ever seen," while Josh Gad, the actor who voiced Olaf in "Frozen," also weighed in.
